Hey, Jamey. Great song. I read the lyrics first and was half-expecting it to be a more faster paced type of story ballad, but was pleasantly surprised hearing the song. Very nice listen..a lot of soul in the song..I like the way your vocals are right out there...Well done.

Howdy Jamey, What a remarkable capture of mood in lyrics and melody!!! A progression, but not a departure of your style, another avenue...if I'm stating this correctly. Two kindred spirits meet without expecting one another on the lonely path that's been taken and it culminates at the end of the song, leaving the mystery and wonder intact.... simply profound!!!!!! Your vocal harbors and delivers the very words that you'd written like adjectives and adverbs do for nouns and verbs......descriptive and demonstrative of the story within the song, awesomely performed!!!!!! Your arrangement has that open range, lonely western sound and truly carries the melody, but doesn't overstate it.....peaceful, alone, but not dwelling on being lonely, an at oneness with the situation......awesome work!!!!!! This is a great song, superbly written and performed...... exactly the reason why I'm a fan of your work, Jamey. Awesome, just Awesome!!!!!!! With respect and admiration, my friend Wade
