A fun, goofy little Gypsy Moth song about fruit. Really. featuring Monica Hudson on vocals, Tom Kessler on rhythm guitar, Scott Aldis on bass, Larry Sieczynski on drums and myself on lead and rhythm guitar.
rock funny fruit
Guitar-based music with deep roots. Influenced by Van Halen, Clapton, B.B. King, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Jimmy Page, Frank Zappa and many more.
Derek Springer has been playing guitar for over thirty years. He's been writing for almost as long. He is heavily influenced by the music his father listened to, such as the Beatles, Rolling Stones, Led Zeppelin, Eric Clapton and more. He also has a lot of modern influences, including Foo Fighters, Barenaked Ladies, Van Halen and Stevie Ray Vaughan.

Story behind the song
It started as a joke at one rehearsal. By the next rehearsal, it had a whole arrangement and was ready to be played! I love this song because it's so silly and fun.
