Besides the fact that you did a great job here, this is a fascinating story. How you even found this is amazing to me. I truly believe the Sumerians would be amazed if they could hear what you have done with their song.

Reminiscent of some of the great alternative compositions from the early 80's, such as Steve Reich, Brian Eno, Cluster and Fripp. I am a real fan of this style. A wonderful piece.

Magnificent, Michael. Your string and choir arrangement is superb and just knowing the Sumerian origin of the piece gives it an added depth and significance. Where else could you hear a piece of music that took 3400 years to produce? Only on SC :D (Sometimes I feel some of my songs take nearly as long to finish...) Brilliant job - deep and thought provoking.
